Growing up on a croft situated on an island; miles from any city - software and web application development may at first sound like a surprising career path for Struan Robertson. Intrigued with new technology from a young age, many rainy afternoons were spent learning his way around his parents computer. Playing video games has always been one Struans favorite hobbies and learning how to modify these games gave him an interesting and rewarding way to learn how to code. These skills progressed over time as he worked on many personal projects in his free time; leading to a strong grasp on many different languages and key concepts used in web and software development.

The design, programming and implementation of both the front-end and back-end in application development interest Struan - each requiring its own skill set that adapts with the ever changing technology world - as learning new skills and adapting to remain on the cutting edge he finds very interesting. Whilst also achieving Higher English, Struan and his family have a strong background in science and he followed suit in his education, studying the three sciences in high school, and passing Higher Physics with a B a year early in fourth year.
